Dr. Young K. Park, D.O.

Dr. Park received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Indiana University. He received a doctor of osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed a family practice residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He has experience in family practice and emergency medicine, as well as integrative medicine and integrative oncology. He has a special interest in preventive medicine, Eastern medicine (acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbs), osteopathic manipulation and functional medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys tai chi, tennis, golf, traveling, and spending time with his family, including his four children.

Dr. Park currently practices Integrated Medicine, which addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and environmental influences affecting health. His practice is one of the few practices in the nation that incorporates multiple medical modalities including conventional western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, as well as osteopathic manipulative therapy and functional medicine. Dr. Park has served patients from more than 400 cities, and has established a large patient base during this time. In 2017, Dr. Park joined Community Cancer Care North to provide services to cancer patients not only to reduce side effects of chemo and radiation therapy but also to optimize and facilitate the body’s innate healing response by appropriate use of both conventional and alternative modalities that are natural and less invasive.
